The trip north of Hite up
Narrow Canyon will now be difficult to navigated. The silt ledge is
now at the conjunction of the Dirty Devil and Colorado Rivers at Hite. The
lake water level is from 200' deep to 15' deep at the silt edge. Drift
wood and other obstruction will impede your journey. The photos are a
collection from many years ago when this was a favorite place for my father and
I to catch the larger catfish.

Narrow Canyon has some of the highest canyon walls on Lake Powell. Some over a 3000' vertical drop.
Narrow Canyon is most interesting to Perry because he spent time as a child in the Hite area before the lake existed.

This is the mouth of Sheep Canyon. Mountain sheep did live hear when Perry was a kid.
