Wall Construction

Matt and Perry started framing the walls on July 19, 2005.
Each of the outside four walls were built and lifted into place one at a time with wall jacks. Allen
gave us a hand with the heavy south wall. Sid, Joyce, and Kodi
helped on the weekend, and by July 27th, all the outside and
inside walls were framed and in place.
Matt finishing the south wall after we raised it with wall jacks. Most of the south/east wall is 10' high for the Great Room. On July 19th we raised the North wall. The east wall went into the air July 20th. Matt and I were able to build and rise each wall in a single day. Sid and Joyce came by for the weekend to lend a hand. Matt working on the loft deck.
