Kodi and Perry spent most of the spring
getting the Placerville property ready for the wedding date in June.
Finishing the guest room upstairs in the shop, clearing the property of fallen
down trees from the heave snow winter, and finishing the garage half of the
building with insulation and wall covering.

This years snow was unusually wet We only had to move snow about three times. The wet snow was more ice than snow. The peak of the building was about three feet deep and the last to melt. The walls of the shop were insulated and finished with wafer board. The spare room upstairs was insulated. We work on getting this room ready for the wedding. Kodi and Perry finished hanging the sheetrock and tapping. We started working on painting the outer doors and hanging the external lighting. Kodi and I insulated, hung the sheetrock, taped, and started to paint the upstairs spare room. This room would be a guest room for the wedding. Kris helped with painting the room. The room was finished and ready for guests. The stairs to the upstairs was finished. It is hot and dry here in August. This is the barn wood that was used for the bandstand during the wedding. And, it is what Perry is using to build the Bakers Rack for Kodi. The east side of the garage will have a river rock retaining wall. Placerville Star Ranch valley November 19, 2002. South view from the cabin site November 19, 2002. North view of the property November 19, 2002. Shop/Garage November 19,2002. We are going to lay 4 x 4 x16 concrete block to set the grill on. Then river rock the outside. This is the grill given to us as a wedding present. We need to finish cleaning up the trees on the north end of the property. There are still trees to remove.
