Project History 2006

Back to Project History

The project is now complete and the closing of the construction loan is finished.  All of the inspections, plumbing, propane lines, electrical, HVAC, and building were complete.  Carpet, tile, bath and kitchen fixtures and installed, and we closed on the cabin July 1, 2006.  There is still work to do in finishing the molding, custom cabinets for the master bedroom and hallway, but we are moved in and enjoying the summer views.

Matt finished the king truss structures on the gable ends.

Alex liked the porch view.

The west gable king truss were built for the windows.

September 8, 2006. We finished the stairs to the loft.

Most of the kitchen cabinets were installed in September 2006.

The great room ceiling fan was installed.

The hardy board gable ends shingles were also installed in September 2006.

The siding was installed.

The cabin outside timbers and posts were sealed and ready for winter.

Winter came.
